Tacho's Tacos

There are a few less known places around, that even people who live here have not tried, like Sushi Cho's in Tucson.. or this awesome place: Tacho's Tacos. This is the "Sabor Autentico" the real Mexican food. The restaurant is located on the road to Naco just south of Bisbee. (slightly south of Safeways on the east side of the road) You know you are close to a real Mexican place when:

1. Green sauce is hotter than Red.
2. You get half a Limon (small lime) on your plate.
3. The taco has cabbage.
4. The taco is on a soft corn tortilla.
5. There is no "Yellow" cheese to be found.
6. The hot sauce (not chunky) is FULL of red pepper.
7. You find crumbled up "Queso Blanco" on the lettuce.

A big indicator of a good establishment is whether the local law enforcement will eat there. In this case they are so frequent they even have a burrito named after them! I keep meaning to try it but I always end up going back to the number one combo. Take the scenic HWY 90 south when you have plenty of time to enjoy the mountain view, or go HWY 92 and through the Bisbee tunnel and head past Warren. So many visually stunning things on either route.
